Kenosha two-vehicle collision kills one

Thirty-eight-year-old Salem, Wisconsin resident Robin Jones lost her life in a two-vehicle collision on Wednesday, June 15. The accident occurred around 4:47 p.m. in the 20900 block of Highway C in Bristol. Jones’ 23-month-old baby survived the crash.

According to preliminary investigations made by the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department, Jones was headed west along the 20900 block of Highway C when she failed to navigate a curve in her Chevrolet HHR. Jones veered off the roadway before over-correcting back onto the road, causing a collision with an eastbound Mercury Village van. The Kenosha County Medical Examiner’s Office reported that Jones was thrown out of the vehicle and declared dead at the scene of the accident. The child, on the other hand, sustained minor injuries and was brought to an area hospital for treatment.

The attorneys at Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. are saddened to hear about this fatal accident. Our thoughts and condolences are with the family of the victim as they mourn the loss of a loved one.
