Teen Breaks Curfew and Causes Wreck

Kenosha police responded to a two-car accident around 2 A.M. on 52nd Street and 22nd Avenue. The wreck was caused by 16-year-old Jacob Limbo, who failed to stop at a flashing red light. A Buick went through the intersection with a blinking yellow light and was struck by Limbo’s car. Limbo’s error caused the Buick to hit the Italian American Club as his own car was stopped by the sidewalk.

None of the injuries were life-threatening, though the passengers of both cars were taken to the hospital for treatment. Jacob Limbo was cited for failing to¬†obey the traffic signal, as well as breaking Kenosha’s curfew. His passenger was a 14-year-old girl, who was also cited for breaking curfew.

Drivers that run red lights put other cars on the road at risk. If you have been the victim of an accident after a driver ran a red light, please call our legal team at Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. to speak to an experienced lawyer serving the Kenosha area at (800) 242-7205.
