Kenosha three-vehicle accident injures woman

A woman was hospitalized following a three-vehicle, chain-reaction collision at 75th Street and 22nd Avenue in Kenosha, Wisconsin on Friday, February 5 at around 8:26 a.m. According to a Kenosha Police Department report, the victim was identified as 27-year-old Stephanie Dixon, who sustained injuries of an unknown nature during the crash.

According to preliminary investigations, Dixon was headed west on 75th Street and was approaching 22nd Avenue when she was unable to stop for an unspecified reason and slammed into the rear of a vehicle in front of her. The vehicle she crashed into was then forced into the vehicle in front of it.

According to reports, Dixon received at least one citation after the collision for following too closely.
