Three dead, one critically injured after two-vehicular accident

An auto accident that involved two vehicles and occurred at around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 31 near the intersection of Highways NN and 96 in Green Bay, Wisconsin has resulted in the deaths of three people. According to reports, a car lost control and veered into the path of an oncoming van. The two vehicles collided, causing the van to catch fire.

An off-duty Brown County police deputy lives near the scene of the collision and was able to respond quickly and extract a man and a woman from the van. The 63-year-old man succumbed to his injuries at the hospital he was rushed to right after the accident, while his 59-year-old wife is still being treated for her critical injuries.

In the other vehicle were two men from De Pere, who were 21 and 22 years old. Neither of the young men survived the collision. The victims were not identified publicly prior to the notification of their families.
