Two car collision on I-94 injures one

Burlington, Wisconsin resident Damian Steinbach was hurt in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of 71st Street and the Interstate 94 ramp on Friday, October 2, at around 2:45 p.m.

According to the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department report, Steinbach was a passenger in a vehicle driven by 67-year-old Eleanor Steinbach. Elenor was headed south along I-94 when she failed to stop at the red light and collided with another vehicle traveling west, driven by 52-year-old Racine resident Carolyn Boehm.

The victim was transported to a local hospital after the crash. A police report listed Steinbach’s injuries as “non-incapacitating.”

Boehm was not injured in the incident. Elenor, however, was issued a moving violation citation for her reckless driving.
