Two hurt in Randall car accident

A rear-end, two-vehicular collision that happened on Highway F in Randall, Wisconsin at around 5 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8 harmed 49-year-old Elkhorn resident Jan Kamenick and 29-year-old Genoa City resident Stephanie Bartlett.

A report from the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department showed that Kamenick was turning into a driveway in the 38000 block and was driving at a slow rate of speed when her car was hit by the vehicle operated by Bartlett, who admitted to police officials that she had momentarily looked down prior to hitting the rear of Kamenick’s vehicle.

Kamenick said she suffered from head trauma but refused to be escorted to a nearby hospital. Bartlett, on the other hand, was brought to the local hospital for the treatment of her injuries where she was cited for operating with a suspended license, failure to have insurance, and distracted driving.
