Kenosha dump truck accident results in one death

A yet-to-be identified woman from Kenosha, Wisconsin succumbed to mortal injuries after the vehicle she was driving collided with a dump truck near 23rd and 39th in Kenosha on November 14 at around 10:30 a.m., FOX6 News reported.

According to preliminary investigations made by the local authorities, the woman and her passenger, a 14-year-old boy, were extricated from the vehicle by emergency medical responders just as the vehicle started catching fire.

Respondents then proceeded to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the woman, who remained unresponsive and was declared dead at the scene of the accident. The young passenger was transported to a hospital by helicopter.

The driver of the dump truck, an unidentified male, was not hurt during the incident.
