Fatal Kenosha County crash results in 7 felony charges

Nineteen-year-old Milwaukee resident Alejandro Ramirez-Gonzalez is facing seven felony charges for allegedly causing a wrong-way crash that killed 48-year-old Grafton resident Robert Miller and injured his wife, 47-year-old Christine, according to an October 10 report by FOX 6.

According to Ramirez-Gonzalez’s passenger, who was also injured in the incident, the two attended a concert earlier that night. They drank vodka beforehand and, before departing the venue, both drank more liquor. In this intoxicated state, Ramirez-Gonzalez drove the wrong way down the highway. According to reports, a police car followed him and attempted to pull him over. Ramirez-Gonzalez briefly slowed down before speeding up, weaving through traffic, and eventually crashing into the Miller couple’s pickup truck. Court Commissioner Jon Mason refused requests to lower the bond, which is set at $250,000.
