Wisconsin families prepare to sue GM

In 2006, Natasha Weigel, 18, and Amy Rademaker, 15, of Wisconsin were driving in a Chevy Cobalt when they were involved in a fatal car accident.  Their families are planning to sue General Motors (GM) for damages since the vehicle has since been recalled by the manufacturer for faulty ignition switches.

The families’ resolve to file for damages grew stronger when documents from GM revealed that the company had known of the double ignition switch problems as early as 2001 and failed to issue recalls until recently.

Car accident victims can sustain serious physical and mental conditions in the aftermath of a serious injury. If you or someone you know has been injured in an accident caused by someone else’s carelessness, you could be eligible to sue for damage compensation. The attorneys at Habush Habush & Rottier S.C., represent Kenosha injury victims. Call our offices today at (262) 652-4900 to speak with a legal representative.
