Single-vehicle accident kills Racine man

An unidentified 31-year-old resident of Racine, Wisconsin died after veering off the County Highway K and striking a row of trees on March 23, the Racine County Sheriff’s Department reported.

According to the police, the victim was heading west on the 4100 block of Highway K when his car started going towards the shoulder of the road. The man tried to correct his error, but instead drove into a ditch on the south side of the road, where his vehicle slammed into several pine trees.

The man died shortly after 9 a.m. after being partially ejected from his seat through the passenger side of the car due to the force of the car crash.

The police will release the name of the victim upon notification of the victim’s family.
