Highway pavement buckles sending a car flying

The intense summer heat over the past week caused a part of Highway 29 near Eau Claire to rise, forming a small ramp.

Most drivers were traversing it slowly, but their cars were still being damaged. One driver did not notice the buckle in the road and hit it at highway speed, sending their car flying in the air.

When the car landed, the driver lost control of it and dashed across the median into oncoming traffic. Luckily, no one was injured.

Roadway defects such as uneven pavement can lead to serious car accidents. If you have been hurt in a car accident caused by a roadway defect, contact the car accident lawyers of Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ®, at 800-242-2874.
