Driver faces felony drunk driving charges

A Franklin driver faces felony drunk driving charges after he was caught driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.16, two times over the legal limit, as well as with a suspended license. This is the 39-year-old’s fourth DWI offense in five years.

He also faces charges of driving with a prohibited alcohol content and driving with a revoked driver’s license. If he is convicted, he could spend six and half years in jail and be forced to pay a $10,000 fine.

According to the Greendale Patch, the man was pulled over in Greendale after an officer noticed him driving despite his suspended license. After detecting alcohol on his breath, the officer conducted field sobriety tests, which the driver failed.
