Third teen dies in Campbellsport accident

A third teenage girl died Sunday afternoon after a friend lost control of her SUV and crashed in Ashford. According to police, the car hit a ditch and rolled several times.

The three victims were 15, 16, and 17 years-old. A total of nine girls were in the vehicle at the time of the accident, several are believed to not have been wearing seatbelts. Four girls are still listed in critical condition, while the driver and another passenger are in satisfactory condition. Two were pronounced dead at scene.

All nine girls were students at Campbellsport High School and members of the varsity and junior varsity soccer teams.
