14 people injured in Town of Reedsburg accident

Fourteen people were recently injured in the Town of Reedsburg during a two-vehicle accident that occurred at the intersection of Highway K and Twin Pine Road.

A 24-year-old woman was driving a 2007 Saturn on Twin Pine Road a little after 10 a.m. when she made an eastbound turn onto Highway K. The woman crashed into a Dodge Grand Caravan that was driven by a 59-year-old man. Each of the cars contained seven people, and all 14 people were taken to Reedsburg Area Medical Center where they were treated for minor injuries.

The 24-year-old woman was given a ticket for failing to yield the right of way and causing a crash. The accident is still being investigated by the Sauk County Sheriff’s Department.
