Driver of 18-Wheeler Suffers Minor Injuries After Accident

The driver of an 18-wheeler suffered minor injuries when the semi-truck he was driving rolled over.

The man was attempting to avoid hitting an oncoming car that was swerving into his lane. In doing so, he lost control of the semi-truck, and it turned sideways, blocking both lanes of traffic on a two-lane road. It then flipped over and came to rest across the lanes. Traffic on the highway was shut down for a brief amount of time while authorities cleared the vehicle.

The driver of the semi-truck was transported immediately to the hospital where he was treated for his injuries.
