Man Pulled Over for Sixth Driving Under the Influence Offense

37-year-old Jason Youngthunder was pulled over a little after midnight Sunday morning. Police say he was driving on the wrong side of the road on Highway 54. The officer reported that he turned on both his lights and sirens for a mile and a half before Youngthunder finally stopped.

He was arrested after he failed a sobriety test. This was his sixth offense for drunken driving. According to WXOW, “BesidesĀ drunk driving, Youngthunder was ticketed for failing to yield, driving with a revoked driver’s license, and child restraint violations.”

He had his two children in the car with him, ages nine and three. The youngest was not in a car seat at the time.

Currently, Youngthunder is in jail, “pending a court appearance and also on a probationĀ hold,” according to WXOW.
