Two Wisconsin residents are dead following a fatal accident involving a deer.  Automobile accidents involving deer are especially common during late autumn and early winter.

The car was traveling eastbound on Wisconsin 133 when it struck a deer, about a half mile west of Lockwood Street in Woodman Township. According to police reports, after striking the deer, the vehicle swerved into the left-hand lane, fell down an embankment toward a river, then hit a tree.

Both occupants of the car were declared dead at the scene. The 24-year-old man and 14-year-old girl were both wearing seat belts.
