A Wausau man that was arrested last year on his fourth drunk driving conviction plead guilty this week to drunk driving and texting.

The 37 year-old man was intoxicated last October and texting on his cellphone when he rear-ended a squad car on Bridge Street. The officer found empty beer cans in the man’s car along with an uncased rifle and bullet. In the backseat were uncased bows and arrows.

The driver blew a 0.132 on a preliminary breathalyzer test, over the legal limit of 0.08. Due to his prior convictions, the man is not allowed to have a blood alcohol content over 0.04.
