Charges filed against Wisconsin driver who ran red light and hit car

Charges were filed against a Wisconsin man after he caused an accident near Quinnesec, Michigan after running a red light over the weekend.

The accident occurred late Saturday night on US-2. A Norwegian man was making a left turn at a green light, when the Wisconsin man, traveling westbound, ran a red light and hit the Norwegian man. The Norwegian man was seriously injured and life-flighted to a hospital in Green Bay. The Wisconsin man and his son, who was also in the vehicle, were taken to a hospital where they were treated and released.

The Wisconsin man has been charged with running a red light and causing an accident.
