Andrew S. Wier
Andrew Wier is an associate at the firm’s Kenosha office whose practice includes all types of personal injury claims. Prior to joining Habush Habush & Rottier S.C., Mr. Wier served for five years as an Assistant District Attorney in the Racine County District Attorney’s Office. He primarily prosecuted impaired driving and domestic violence cases and conducted approximately 20 jury trials as solo counsel.
Mr. Wier received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School. While a law student Andrew worked in the Wisconsin Department of Justice, the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Wisconsin, and the Rock County District Attorney’s Office and was an active participant in the law school’s Mock Trial team. He received a B.A. in History, Political Science, and African American studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
In 2012 Mr. Wier was appointed to a five year term on the Police and Fire Commission for the Village of Caledonia. He is actively involved in his church and is a member of the Racine and Kenosha County Bar Associations as well as the Wisconsin Association for Justice, Young Professionals of Racine and YLink-Kenosha. Andrew and his wife Angela reside in Caledonia with their two children and are expecting their third child.
